Linda Carter, London

About

Twenty years of fertility care, one person at a time.

Linda Carter — clinician, acupuncturist, counsellor.

In Linda's own words

I don't see myself as a coach. I'm a clinician who took the long way round.

I've spent the last twenty years working in fertility — first in obstetrics and gynaecology, then gradually adding the other things that mattered to the women in my care.

I trained through the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and I'm a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council. Along the way I've added counselling and nutrition training, and a working knowledge of most of the fertility-adjacent medical conditions you're likely to hear named — PCOS, endometriosis, male factor, hyperthyroidism.

I work with two kinds of client. The first is the woman who has been trying for a while and is starting to feel lost in the volume of advice. The second is the couple — often including a reluctant male partner — who has just had an IVF cycle fail and needs a calm place to think about what's next.

I take on a limited number of clients each month on purpose. The work doesn't scale well. I'm not trying to make it.
