On male factor infertility, and why it shouldn't be a footnote

Half the equation. Half the conversations. It deserves the other half.

Male factor accounts for roughly half of fertility cases, and yet the conversation around it is still thinner than it should be. That's partly cultural — men often don't talk about these things easily — and partly clinical, because historically the female partner has been the default focus of fertility investigation.
